Knaresborough Town Reserves went down 2-1 at home to league-leaders, Rothwell Athletic with all the goals coming in the second half at Manse Lane.

Craig Hartley set Rothwell on their way with the opener in the 67th minute and Craig Tawton added a second only six minutes later.

Fraser Lancaster pulled one back with eleven minutes to play when he hit home a penalty after Rothwell had a player sent off for handling on the line, but Knaresborough were unable to find a second.

Dan Ledgeway, who stood in goal as a result of the other four registered goalkeepers all being unavailable, was named man-of-the-match for a series of brave saves which kept Rothwell at bay for such a long period.
