Town were held to a 1-1 draw against struggling Altofts. The home side were full of running and fight, as a team at the foot of the table and playing for survival would be. Knaresborough had many chances to win convincingly but failed to convert them into goals. Knaresborough did take the lead just before the break. Ashley Atkinson headed the ball down towards Colin Heath, the striker finished with a fine volley.

Altofts were stirred up by the goal and came out and took control of the game in the second half.

They got their reward in the 87th minute when Luke Williamson equalised.

    Ripon City Reserves (0) 1
    Knaresborough Town Reserves (1) 3.

    The reserves had a fine win over Ripon City reserves in the Alliance Division One.

    Craig Robinson gave Knaresborough the lead in the 26th minute and Blaine Hobson made it 2-0 just after the break.

    Ripon pulled one back before Hobson’s second sealed the victory even though James Stratton had to save a Kyle Baldwin penalty to preserve the two goal margin.  


    No Game At Manse Lane This Saturday.

    There will be no game at Manse Lane this Saturday as the first team travel to Glasshoughton Welfare for their League Cup game and the Reserves are away to Carlton Athletic in the Alliamce Division 1.

    The clubhouse will be open as usual in the afternoon.
